Missing woman Tashyra McDowell was found dead on Tuesday by a farmer who was trying to harvest his corn. He discovered that her body was stuck in his corn combine. It seems as though the young woman died a horrific death since she was so stuck that it took two hours for authorities to take apart the combine to remove her body. Who could have done this to that woman, leaving behind a seven-year-old child without a mother? It just seems so senseless.
Tashyra McDowell was last seen by her mother when she picked up her mail. It was Friday. By Monday her young son was found alone on Monday. That's when the searches for the missing woman began. They ended abruptly on Tuesday when her body was found stuck in the corn combine operated by a local farmer. An autopsy is scheduled for today, so it would be interesting to find out how she died. If the way her body was disposed is any indication of how she died, then this won't be a pretty story when it's all said and done.
Hopefully investigators get to the very bottom of this case so the girl's family gets the closure they deserve. This is such a tragic story that has become far too frequent.
