Missing Iowa cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins still haven't been found, but the vigil that was supposed to be held at the lake took place on Thursday night. However, it did not occur at the lake where the two girls' bikes were found early in the search for them. The "Leave no Stone Unturned, Bring Home Liz and Lyric" Facebook page shared the details that cool weather and potential rain caused the vigil to be moved to the Countryside Vineyard Church. Fortunately there were people at the lake to redirect interested attendees.

Coincidentally enough, the two-month-mark of Lyric and Liz's disappearance also happened to be the wedding anniversary of little Lyric's parents—Misty and Daniel Morrissey, who are reportedly separated. Were either important memories observed by the parents of one of the missing girls? Remember that Daniel Morrissey has been referred to in several media reports as a suspect in the disappearance of his daughter and her cousin. He has a criminal record involving violent altercations, meth use and other brushes with the law.
As far as the search goes for the two missing Iowa girls is going, it doesn't appear that there are any new details in the investigation. The FBI, again, is being dead silent about the progress of the case and that by itself is very unsettling. Funds in the search are obviously low, but the community of Evansdale and surrounding locations have pitched together to collect cans—proceeds going to the MEC Fund. Lyric and Elizabeth's Cans of Hope shares the details of what this will hopefully achieve.
If you're not in the area and want to do something to show support for finding the two missing cousins, please consider signing the "Cousin's Law" petition (click here).
