Avery Dawn Workman is missing from Denver, Colorado. The 16-year-old disappeared on her way to 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver on Sunday. She was on the Union Station light rail, last seen at one of the stops by RTD security. She had been on her way to meet her sister, who had been in cell contact with the teen all day, when she vanished.

Avery, who is described as 5'4", weighing about 120 lbs., with red hair, was last seen wearing an off-white miniskirt and a brown leather vest. Oddly, she was also carrying a black and white hula-hoop. That seems strange, but also will make her more identifiable, or at least point authorities in the right direction. You don't see many girls carrying around hula-hoops. However, it seems she was part of a group, Circus-Your-Way, that performs at the mall. Avery also has a large, distinct birth mark under her left eye.
She was last seen with an unidentified man, who is believed to be white or Hispanic, with dreadlocks. His overalls and cap were covered with patches, leading some to speculate that he is one of Denver's homeless, as it was another homeless man who saw Avery talking with this man. It is also said that he has a strangely shaped tattoo on his arm, resembling a chemical molecule, that he plays the drums, and travels with a brown or black dog. It is believed that this man may have drugged Avery and taken her to Bolder, Colorado.
Another missing child? This is getting ridiculous. A Facebook page has been set up, and hopefully will aid in getting the word out about the missing teenager. Have you seen Avery Dawn Workman? If so, please call in tips to Denver Police Department ASAP by calling 720-913-6653 or 720-913-2000.
