Arraignment will come quickly for a Tennessee couple, each charged with six counts of child rape, six counts of rape, six counts of aggravated sexual battery by an authority figure, six counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, and one count of child abuse. These charges stem from the couple's two 15-year-old foster daughters, claiming that Rodney Robinson, 44, had been sexually abusing them since 2007, and Demetria Robinson, 33, was aware of the abuse, but did nothing to stop it. In that situation, one could be confused about which of them committed a bigger crime.

There is one thing that can make these allegations worse: The Robinsons have run a daycare out of their home since 2010. That's pretty alarming! This daycare on Ewingdale Drive, in a suburban area in northern Nashville, Tennessee, cares for children from 6 weeks old to 12 years, and has the capacity for 15 kids. That's a lot of possible victims being paraded through a house where a pedophile is present.
It's horrible that this kind of crime is committed at all, but it's made even worse by the fact that a caregiver ignored the abuse. What's that going to do to these girls ability to trust adults? Hopefully these girls have someone in their future who stands up for them, who does the right things for them, or their outlook is pretty grim.
