Did you buy Mega Millions tickets for Friday night's drawing? Then you're probably wondering who the winners are! The Mega Millions winning numbers for September 28, 2012 are 6, 8, 14, 43, 56, the Mega Ball number is 28, and the Megaplier is X 4.
Unfortunately for all who hoped of waking up filthy rich on Saturday morning, there are sadly no jackpot winners in Friday's game. Not everyone will be unhappy, though. There are still plenty of Mega Millions winners, they'll just have to be content with a lot less money.

Mega Millions Lottery Winners 9/28/2012
Three (3) lottery winners won the Match 5 + 0 prize. The lucky tickets were sold by the California Lottery, Illinois Lottery, and the Pennsylvania Lottery commissions. The Illinois and Pennsylvania Mega Millions winners will each get checks for $250,000 before taxes. If either winner spent an extra dollar on the Megaplier option, they may see their prize winnings automatically increased to $1,000,000!
The California Mega Millions winner will receive $173,830 for matching five out of six Mega Millions numbers, but not the Mega Ball number. According to the CA Lottery, Mega Millions prize amounts in California are pari-mutuel, and will vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. In this case, it's considerably less than what the Illinois and Pennsylvania Mega Millions winners will get.
There are also twenty-seven (27) Match 4 + 1 winners that will receive $10,000 each. If any of these third-tier winners purchased Megaplier tickets, they'll have their prizes multiplied by Friday's Megaplier number of 4 to $40,000 instead! How's that for a $2 investment?
When is the Next Mega Millions Drawing?

Remember, playing the lottery should be fun, but sometimes too much lottery fun can be addictive and could ruin lives. Please play responsibly, and don't spend more than you're willing to lose.
