Across the US, witnesses have spotted UFOs hovering close to the ground in full view. This happened to a driver in Richmond, Virginia.
On September 30, at about 6:10 p.m., a woman reported seeing a low flying, rectangular-shaped craft with three lights hovering at the height of a five-story building. Now that is low to the ground.
She was driving to work when she first saw something strange in the sky but thought it was a helicopter.
According to the Examiner, the witness stated, "I passed by the junction for 295 and as I came to the stoplight, I noticed three white lights in a straight line coming from the left side of the road. I am not very good at estimating distances, but if I had to guess, it looked like it was no more than a half mile away. If I had to guess how high it was, I would say no more than a five-story building. I would say it was about three times as big as I would expect an airplane to look at that distance. It was 6:15 to 6:20 at this point."
When the woman came to a stop at a red light she noticed that the object slowed down and she was able to see that the lights were part of a dark rectangle. The witness said that she knew that this was not a helicopter or an airplane.
Suddenly the object came to a stop directly in front of her. The lights moved from being parallel to the ground to being at a 45 degree angle to it. The lights were also brighter and the dark object disappeared.
She was so terrified of the event that she was afraid to drive home from work. "It scared me so much I was on the brink of tears even later that night when I told my husband about it. I am very interested in talking to anyone else who might have seen this too."
The Commonwealth of Virginia has an Unidentified Flying Object Alert rating of 5 which means it has a low number of object sightings compared with the rest of the US. Virginia had 6 reports in September 2012, the 29th highest reporting state, while California had 69 reports, the highest reporting state in the nation.
These days the chance of seeing a flying craft dancing through the clouds is as common as finding a car on a road. Everyday more reports are filed to the authorities on the activities seen above. The public needs to be taken seriously in what they observe.
It's terrifying to most people when they see their first UFO. Most don't know what to do or where to go with their information. They even have the fear that others will laugh and make fun of them. Because of that fear some sightings are never reported.
Not everything flying over our heads are space crafts from different planets and solar systems, most probably aren't, but isn't there a chance, small as they might be, that Alf and Mork from Ork really do exist?
Keep those eyes to the skies because something could be flying above.
