Evidence in the Jill Meagher rape and homicide is being sought at the location where she was once buried -- in a shallow grave. Officials returned to the former resting place of the missing/slain Melbourne woman in hopes of garnering more evidence against the man accused of killing her.
What kind of evidence do you think investigators will find in this area? Hopefully Adrian E. Bayley was a sloppy criminal who left behind plenty of DNA and other evidence for a speedy conviction. Though it seems like it could be possible that this man has killed before. It's hard to consider that Jill Meagher was his first time raping and murdering someone.
The area was searched apparently to no result as far as the media knows. for all that is known any evidence that is found won't be shared with the public due to the sensitivity of this high-profile case.
