The parents of April Jones were told by officials that their missing daughter was most likely murdered within hours of her disappearance, which is statistically true of children who are abducted by sexual predators. The likelihood of the missing child being murdered are extremely high now that the week is over and her disappearance is verging closer to a week. The first couple of days of a disappearance are extremely important, but it appears that all that officials could uncover in a short amount of time is that Mark Bridger may have kidnapped and murdered that child.

Why would a 46-year-old man abduct and murder a 5-year-old girl? What would his motive be? It's reported that the man believed to have kidnapped and murdered the little girl was a man known to the parents, and her. He's also been described as a bit of a "ladies man" with a veritable laundry list of past lovers, including women he impregnated several times.
So could this man's insatiable sexual nature have led him to do the unthinkable in abducting little April Jones? Was his motive sexual? No answers are in the media, just questions being asked over and over about this case.
The parents of the missing child are in absolute shambles over her disappearance. It probably doesn't help knowing that she went missing on a night that they had given her extra playtime outside as a "treat" for a good school report card. On a night she was being rewarded with extra time to play outside, someone preyed on her and undoubtedly turned that night into a nightmare. It's certainly been a nightmare for the family.
