The search for Jessica Ridgeway is entering its third day with the missing 10-year-old nowhere in sight, to the disappointment of her loved ones and residents of Westminster, Colorado. The latest update in the missing child's case is a bit of a disappointment because it reveals the cold, serious possibility that this child could be in extremely grim danger.
Jeremiah, the father of the missing Colorado girl, is not suspected by police in her disappearance. This comes several hours after the search of his Independence, Missouri, home went public. However, with Jeremiah being cleared of suspicion, that leaves other possibilities in this child's disappearance, and none of them are positive. At least if this would have been a parental disappearance, there would be a higher chance of her being safe right now.
Officials are desperate for clues in the search for 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, but the only real clues there are in this case are the backpack and water bottle found in Superior, over 10 miles from where Jessica was last seen. This indicates that she was transported or the person who knows what happened to her transported her belongings to this location—but why? The theories in this case are numerous, but again, none of them are really positive. Hopefully this case beats the odds, but the most vital window of time in this disappearance is now coming to an end, and the statistical hope of finding Jessica alive is becoming slimmer with each hour that passes.
