Was Elizabeth Marriott, the 19-year-old University of New Hampshire student allegedly murdered by 29-year-old Seth Mazzaglia, manipulated into a scene from Fifty Shades of Grey? New evidence purporting Mazzaglia's involvement with S&M and sexual bondage websites is leading investigators in that direction.
According to a report from Seacoast Online, a "law enforcement source known to the Portsmouth Herald, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive investigation, confirmed that a sexual encounter is believed to have been a factor in the case."
It goes far deeper than just a sexual encounter, however. Investigators discovered Mazzaglia's profile o n several online dating sites. Calling himself 'DarkKaiser,' two of these sites promote way more than a dinner-and-movie kind of date.
One of the questionable sites describes itself as "the world's largest BDSM (bondage, discipline, dominance and submission, and sadomasochism) community and the most exciting bondage and fetish Web site." Mazzaglia as 'DarkKaiser' describes himself there as 'a master seeking slave.'
On another site he says he's looking for "a lifetime relationship; a relationship; a play partner; princess by day, slut by night; and a sub."
By all accounts from friends and family members, Lizzi Marriott wasn't the kind of girl to willingly participate in these frightening, kinky sexual practices. Might Seth Mazzaglia have lured her to his apartment under false pretenses and forced her to carry out his bizarre sexual fetish scenes?
The best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James is still front and center in the media, and describes the S&M, bondage, submission and dominance sexual practices of its main character Christian Grey. Often called 'Mommy Porn,' the books--a series of three--are known for enticing and exciting bored housewives and perhaps spicing up the sex lives of consensual couples. But have the books encouraged a sinister practice as well?
There's been no mention of Fifty Shades of Grey relating to Seth Mazzaglia's second-degree murder charge of Lizzi Marriott. Yet it certainly makes you wonder if the aspiring actor and martial arts instructor was familiar with the content.
Lizzi Marriott's body still hasn't been found. On Tuesday Marine Patrol boats scoured the waters of Peirce Island in Portsmouth--just a few minutes drive from where Lizzi was allegedly murdered. The sight of these boats stabs bystanders in the heart. It's unfathomable to think of what Lizzi's family feels.
It certainly seems like the investigation into Elizabeth Marriott's murder is about to take some very sinister twists and turns. People might hear things they'd just as soon never learn. New information will sink that knife even deeper into the hearts of Lizzi's family and close friends. What everyone must remember is a 19-year-old girl died at the hands of a 29-year-old man. Lizzi, her family and the public deserve to know what drove Seth Mazzaglia to kill.
Then, and only then, can Lizzi Marriott can rest in peace.

Things like this are sensationalistic and disgusting and if you truly didn't wish to compound the grief of the family, you'd have the sense to not write an article that links pointless (and not particularly well written) fluff with the murder of a young girl before the facts have been truly confirmed.
Please do all of us a favor and stick to writing about the off-screen affairs of Robert Pattinson.
