Free & Equal is sponsoring a 3rd party debate that includes all presidential candidates and not just the two establishment candidates. Larry King will be the moderator of the debate, which will stream live from at freeandequal.org/live on October 23 at 8 PM CDT. Candidates include Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson, and Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party.
Free & Equal anticipates a "historic debate" that will be far more substantive than the ones you have seen so far. "Unlike the 'debates' between Romney and Obama, these candidates aren't afraid to provide more than rehearsed talking points for answers. Our debate is sure to feature some heated exchanges and a wide array of viewpoints."
As entertaining as the major presidential debates have been, with Obama exploring different levels of "politeness" and Romney attacking the president with the tiny changes he would make to the president's policies, it will be rather nice to hear what the other four candidates have to say in the 3rd party debate.
