On Friday, it was announced that a Pennsylvania Powerball winner had purchased a $2,000,000 winning ticket at Wegmans in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania for Wednesday's drawing.
Philly.com also reported on Friday, that a $2,000,000 winning ticket was also purchased from the Delaware Lottery at the EZ Check Food Store on College Road in Dover.
On Wednesday, lottery officials announced a Rhode Island Powerball winner spent an extra dollar on a third-tier Power Play ticket and won $40,000. The standard prize is normally $10,000, but the Power Play option made all the difference! The winning ticket was sold at Convenience Plus, 1501 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI.
