A Democrat running for a state house seat in Washington flaunted her boobs in Playboy magazine, but the embarrassing scandal probably won't sway voters very much either way.
Her district is located in Spokane Valley, in heavily Christian western Washington state, where there are many family values voters. But in 2012, with all the serious economic problems facing folks, most people aren't going to mind that she showed her breasts nearly 20 years ago.
Amy appeared in Playboy's "Women of the Ivy League" edition as a junior at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Her opponent, Republican Matt Shea, meanwhile, is trying to distance himself from Biviano's topless scandal.
"I am saddened by the release by a national media outlet of my opponent's involvement in pornography. I strongly condemn the release of this information. This type of negative campaigning is exactly what is wrong with politics today. While these revelations are indeed alarming, my heart goes out to Amy and her family. My wife Viktoriya and I will continue to pray for her," Shea said in a statement.
This story is a tempest in a teapot. Biviano is 37 years old now, and is a completely different person than when she was at Yale University. Young people make mistakes, and as long as no laws were broken, her Playboy experience shouldn't count against her today. What is your opinion? Is this a legitimate campaign issue?

For myself, the post & quote both seem from a priggish, prudish, outmoded POV. But that is still common to a large block of this country, I suppose.
How do you think she got my vote?
The pics really weren't that bad. Nothing like this should disqualify somebody from office. Scott brown did something similar when he was younger.

-beware of handsome republican politicians who oppose gay rights and pray for others
A handsome face can hide a wicked mind.
So Anthony Weiner shows his stuff and gets the axe. So how come this gal shows her stuff and everyone claps hooray???
