Susane Garcia of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, didn't waste any time claiming her $1,000,000 winning lottery ticket. The Wisconsin Powerball winner matched five out of six white Powerball winning numbers, but not the red Powerball for the October 27 drawing. She claimed her prize today. She purchased her lucky ticket at Oklahoma Liquor, 933 W. Oklahoma Avenue in Milwaukee, WI.
According to Wisconsin Lottery officials, Garcia ended up with a single cash payment of $672,500 after taxes. Not only did she take home a fantastic prize, but the store also received a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning ticket. It's a win-win for both the lottery winner and the retailer. She's no doubt having a sweet Halloween this year!
