Halloween Powerball Lottery Winners 10/31/2012
After some pretty lean drawings in October, Wednesday's Halloween drawing saw four (4) Powerball winners making an impressive comeback. One (1) South Carolina Powerball winner will be receiving a $2,000,000 check just in time for the holidays. The lottery winner matched five out of six Powerball winning numbers, but not the Powerball for the second-tier prize. Normally, this size prize would pay out $1,000,000, but the South Carolina Powerball winner played the Power Play option for an extra dollar and doubled their prize winnings!
The remaining three (3) Match 5 + 0 Powerball winners were lucky too, but not quite as lucky as the South Carolina lottery winner. They each won $1,000,000 because they didn't spend the extra buck and buy a Power Play ticket! The winners purchased their winning tickets from the Connecticut Lottery, Florida Lottery, and Pennsylvania Lottery commissions for the October 31 drawing.
In addition to the really big prizes, there were also twenty-one (21) Match 4 + 1 winners for the third-tier prize. Eighteen (18) of those Powerball winners will receive $10,000 each, and the remaining three (3) bought Power Play tickets which instantly increased their prize winnings to $40,000. It pays to play the Power Play!
