Not much can be said about the video clip you see below. Geraldo Rivera is known to be extremely honest and has also been known for over two decades for his integrity and ethics. To see him so blatantly call the Fox News political machine out for the liars they are is refreshing.
He referred to the coverage on Ruper Murdoch's news network as "GOP bloodlust," which is exactly right. Hell, all that's needed is to look at the bloggers who mindlessly watch Faux News and regurgitate the same lies all over the internet regarding Benghazi. Of course these same empty-headed bloggers display that same "GOP bloodlust" regardless of the situation, and the tragedy out of Libya is nothing more than ideological ammunition for them to use against the current administration.
Do you think right-wing ideologues are going to backtrack and apologize for reprinting the lies spread by the likes of Eric Bolling, Bill O'Reilly, and other conservative commentators for this lying network? They probably won't. That's because ideology for these types is more important than honesty and integrity.
At least Geraldo Rivera still has his dignity intact—the same cannot be said about those those who will continue to politicize the Benghazi attacks.

Though it's unlikely those who swallow the vomit spoon-fed to them by Fox News will even bat a lash at what Geraldo said. I bet you $20.00 some of the "bloggers" that frequent this site who have made a point to politicize it will jump to the defense of the network; watch.

The primary reason that the Benghazi incident (and its predecessor in the over-politicization category, the Eric Holder crucifixion) has remained so volatile and controversial is, clearly, The Right Wing Media Decimation Syndicate.
It is unfortunate that other Media keep this story going, by responding to the malicious Echo Chamber, with investigative here-say--thereby feeding the inflated Buzz....
ANY Consulate and Embassy, at this point, and earlier, are targets for attack.
Not to mention any other locations--from Times Square to Istanbul.
I formed my opinion of Mr. Rivera way back in the late 1980's when The Geraldo Show first appeared on daytime television, hosted by Geraldo Rivera himself. In fact, I was actually watching the show in which his guest were a White Supremist group which turned into unexpected mahem on live television. During that day's broadcast, a small riot insued in front of the cameras and Rivera was seen being hit in the face with a chair, which resulted in his nose being broken. This to me was trash entertainment television, presented specifically to a certain segment of the viewing audience, a type of viewer which I am not.
My dislike for Mr. Rivera's form of sensationalism in news reporting, increased with his reporting during the Invasion of Kuwait. During combat operations, he knowingly and deliberately broke the imposed restriction rules placed on reporters and broadcast the exact position of the military troop detachment to which he was assigned. By doing so, he put those soldiers and himself in direct physical danger and the military command's attack secrets in jeopardy of exposure to the enemy.
However, and to the point of the issue, as the author of this article stated, I have never found Mr. Rivera to be dishonest in his news reporting. Neither have I found him to be subject to any bias in political issues which he investigated and/or reported upon.
To be totally honest, I was suprised when he was hired by the Fox News Network, first as a War Correspondant and then as the network's New York based investigative reporter. I say this since he is an extremely dogmatic investigative style reporter in getting to the crux of whatever story he is assigned to report on. His personal style and type of indepth investigative reporting is not something Fox News is known for in it's reporters. Fox, being a news agency which employs mostly reporters who are conservative and thereby politically biased. For the most part, reporters who are prone to report news only in a form which is favorable from a conservative's point of view.
It's refreshing to hear a Fox News Reporter, being truthful and non biased on a political issue. The only problem being, all Liberals knew the real story to begin with and the indoctrinated Conservatives will never listen to anything counter to conservatism, no matter who says it or what source it comes from. Geraldo will without a doubt, be chastised for his reporting and labeled as a turncoat and a liar. (So much for truth in journalism)

If, as right wingers on this forum say, Obama should be impeached or go on trial for negligent homicide, let's remember there is no statute of limitations. Therefore, Bush should go on trial as well.
