General John Allen now joins David Petraeus in being linked with Jill Kelley through a sex scandal that threatens the military man's confirmation hearing in Washington this week.
Early Tuesday morning, Nov. 13, the Pentagon announced that Gen. Allen was now being investigated for inappropriate emails he sent to Jill Kelley, which included thousands of documents.
Kelley continues to surface in news regarding the sex scandal that claimed retired Gen. Petraeus' job as CIA Director; however, she insists that she was never romantically involved with the military and Washington official.
According to USA Today, the FBI notified the Pentagon on Sunday about Gen. Allen's involvement, but Defense Secretary Leon Panetta first revealed it to reporters during his Honolulu to Perth, Australia, flight early Tuesday morning.
The news about Gen. John Allen comes on the heels of the FBI going back into Paula Broadwell's North Carolina home on Monday night and removing boxes of documents, as well as photographing the inside and exterior of her residence.
