Today, Sue Dooley, a production coordinator for the Multi-State Lottery Association, told CBS Radio News, that the final jackpot topped out at $587,500,000 annuity, and roughly $384,000,000 as the cash option.

The Missouri Powerball winning ticket was sold at a Trex Mart convenience store in Dearborn, MO, just north of Kansas City. Arizona lottery officials said the store location of the Arizona Powerball winner's ticket is a 4 Sons Food Store in Fountain Hills, near Phoenix, AZ. The top prizes included tons of smaller prizes won as well, including twelve Powerball prizes to two well-deserved Hurricane Sandy surviving statesÂ—New York and New Jersey! In fact, there were eight $1,000,000 tickets sold to New Jersey Powerball winners, and four $1,000,000 tickets sold to New York Powerball winners.
There were also three second-tier Powerball winning tickets sold in South Carolina. One South Carolina Powerball winner not only matched five out of six white Powerball winning numbers, but the player spent an extra dollar on a Power Play ticket and ended up winning $2,000,000 instead of the standard $1,000,000 prize. The remaining two South Carolina lottery winners will have to be happy knowing their just millionaires!
$2,000,000 Powerball Power Play winners sure were plentiful last night. Powerball winners from Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, New Mexico, Ohio, and South Carolina each spent an extra dollar on the Power Play option which paid out handsomely for them.
