Former child abuse fugitives Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow remain jailed on the numerous charges they both face. In the latest update in their ongoing case, Dow has been officially indicted on charges of felony assault. Prosecutors also accuse the man of beating Jessica's son in the head -- leading to the child suffering from seizures. He is also accused of burning the child's fingers and wrist.
Linscott's son was released from the hospital and is in safe care where he is reportedly being showered with gifts and "get well" wishes. While he is recovering from the injuries associated with the abuse he endured, little James will apparently have a pleasant holiday with plenty of Christmas gifts just for him. The same can't be said of his mother and her boyfriend -- which is probably for the best.
Jessica Linscott hasn't been indicted yet as far as reports have indicated, but she's facing at least six counts of misdemeanor "endangering the welfare of a child." She is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on December 20th. It does look like justice will be served in this tragic case, and it's hopeful that little James will recover to never be in the care of these two again.
