Missing woman Danielle Jelinek reportedly had another boyfriend at the time that she was at her on-again-off-again boyfriend's home -- just before she vanished. Aaron Schnagl (also Schnagel) has been reported in the media as the primary person of interest in her disappearance, but it doesn't seem that her other boyfriend has ever been mentioned until recently. Her sister mentioned it while talking to the media about her disappearance.

Cory Jelinek had a mouthful to say about Danielle's relationship with Aaron Schnagl -- who remains jailed on drug charges while the search for Danielle continues.
"I don't think she [Danielle] would ever call him her boyfriend. They were on-and-off friends. She had a boyfriend when this happened," she said. "She cared about him as a friend. She cared about everybody, but I know she didn't love him."
These details add new elements to the case that haven't been speculated upon before. If she had a boyfriend while visiting with Aaron Schnagl, did the boyfriend know about this? Her family didn't know she had been visiting the POI, as she lied and said she was visiting another friend. So it came as a shock to find out that she had been there. It's probably safe to say that if her family weren't aware of this behavior, then her boyfriend might not have been either. This would also indicate that her family doesn't really know as much as they think about Danielle. Was she engaging in a sort of relationship with Aaron Schnagl? Or was this occurrence stemming from nothing more than drug use? These questions, and many more, are worth examining.
If Danielle Jelinek wasn't "in love" with Aaron Schnagl, and he was in love with her, then that in and of itself is a potential recipe for disaster. Crimes of passion aren't uncommon, and one of the most common murder motives is jealousy. It's worth speculating that Aaron might have been upset with Danielle for having a boyfriend when he wanted to be with her. This is one avenue of speculation that can be explored with the details revealed by Danielle's sister. It's also worth speculating that Danielle might have truly left that last night Aaron and her were together, only to meet some kind of foul play along the way.
Danielle remains missing, and until she is located there will be unanswered questions about what happened to her. And unfortunately there may never be answers even if she is found. That's the nature of these types of cases, and it's unfair for everyone involved, including the loved ones of whoever is behind her disappearance. Hopefully someone out there knows something and comes forward with the information needed to put an end to this tragic case.
