Fourteen-year-old Shaniesha Forbes was reportedly a victim of bullying before her naked body was found burned and partially submerged in the sand at a Brooklyn beach. She also happened to be the daughter of a police sergeant in the area. Indeed, this teen was tragically taken away from a family who loves her, and the details of her being a bully just adds more reason to speculate. That's not the only element in this strange death. It appears that the young girl had a boyfriend with whom she had troubles.

Did her death have anything to do with the above mentioned elements, or was her death caused by something completely unrelated. It's true that the 14-year-old girl was rebellious and rather wild, having run away from home at least once before she disappeared this final time. It's tough to be an officer of the law with a teenage daughter who just won't listen, who insists on growing up too fast -- and now her father, and mother, are mourning the ultimate tragedy a parent can suffer.
Regardless of her wild personality, Shaniesha Forbes was a bright student who didn't deserve to be ruthlessly ridiculed by students in her science class and other subjects. She was the victim of heartless attacks on her appearance, with the topics of their ridicule focusing on the weave she was believed to had worn to school. She went missing Friday, January 4, 2013, never to return.
It was just two days later that her naked body was discovered just four miles from her home, partially buried in the sand near the remnants of a bonfire. Her legs and arms were reportedly badly burned. Officials have confirmed that she did not die in the fire, for her lungs contained no smoke. However, her cause of death has not been revealed. What is apparent, even though officials are reluctant to call this a homicide, is something happened to this girl in a horrific manner. Someone burned her either during or after her death, and partially buried her nude body. That has "homicide" stamped all over it, and what kind of monster(s) could do such a thing?
It's worth speculating that mean spirited bullies could be capable of doing a thing like this. Children can, have and do kill -- and when children kill, the level of ferocity is often shocking. What about this boyfriend she is alleged to had been having troubles with? Would he have reason to harm her? Or was this the result of an abduction and violent act of a predator?
