Keith Ratliff and John Noveske have both died in mysterious ways within the last few weeks. Both prominent Second Amendment Advocates, their demise comes amid a raging gun control debate in America.
As reported by the New York Times, Ratliff's "passion for firearms made him something of a celebrity on the Internet." He enjoyed a massive following for his YouTube channel, being the ninth largest on the wildly popular video sharing site. Ratliff was found on January 3rd "surrounded by several guns, but not the one that killed him" in his Kentucky business that "made and repaired firearms." It is unclear if the weapons were deliberately arranged around Ratliff, which could possibly be interpreted as a statement.
His brother, Kelly's statement "For him not to pull out that gun and try to defend himself, he had to feel comfortable around somebody. Either that or he was ambushed," which lends itself to speculation about a possible personal dispute. However, at this point, the murderer and the motive are still pure speculation. Adam's wife said, "You know, it just doesn't really add up," as reported by the Daily Mail.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda, and his 2-year-old son. One cannot imagine how his loved ones are suffering. There are no words. All one can hope is that the killer will be found and Ratliff's friends and family will someday be able to find peace.
John Noveske, a battle rifle manufacturer, on the other hand, was killed in a "single vehicle" car accident. While navigating a turn, his car "traveled across the oncoming lane onto the dirt highway shoulder until it struck two large boulders," flipped over, and Noveske was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. It is particularly strange, because the accident occurred by Noveske's residence. One would think he would be familiar enough with the roads to anticipate a tight curve. The fatal accident is still being investigated.
Some sites have made the observation that Noveske made a controversial connection on his final Facebook post several days before his death about mass shooters and the link between their medications and their violent acts, and additionally questioned which type of medication was being taken by Sandy Hook Shooter Adam Lanza.
The killer's medication has yet to be reported, despite the fact that Lanza suffered with mental illness. As noted by Sanjay Gupta on CNN, "If you look at the studies on other shootings like this that have happened, medications like this were a common factor." This common thread seems to be minimized in the mainstream media, where the conversation has focused much more on gun control legislation, despite any evidence that such laws work.
John Noveske and Keith Ratliff's untimely deaths are a tragic loss for Second Amendment advocates. May they rest in peace.

Read the stats it is not me or the guy across the street or down the block or in East japep who owns guns who are doing these mass murders.Who killed these two guys? Surely not someone who is a gun owner and believes in the Second Amendment...it was done by those opposed to the the Second. Sit down and THINK Ian with a brain you have.
Interesting that most of those areas are heavily liberal areas with the resulting bleeding heart laws that ENCOURAGE such crime. They encourage the crime, yet cry "foul" when they get what they want. Hypocritical to say the least.
From CNN: "Violent crime in the United States fell for the fifth consecutive year in 2011 with murder, rape and robbery all going down, although crime remains a serious problem in many urban areas, the FBI said on Monday."
and let's not forget:
Seventy percent of violent felons had a prior arrest record, and 57% had at least one prior arrest for a felony
As for Ratliff, I think it was someone he knew. If the government wanted to kill someone, they would've gone after that dude in Tennessee who threatened to kill the president if new gun regulations came about. James Yeager...he ended up getting his concealed carry license revoked because of that video rant where he said he'd start killing people just to make his point. Great guy, that.
I can only assume a majority of commenter's, especially Big Mama cheered when G. Gordon Liddy advised all Second Amendment advocates: "August 26, 1994: Now if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests." … "They've got a big target on there, ATF. Don't shoot at that, because they've got a vest on underneath that. Head shots, head shots.... Kill the sons of bitches."
As well as cheered on as James Yeager ranted on about the current discussion regarding Gun Laws & the Second Amendment on Youtube saying He's going to start killing people.
Personally I support JAMES YEAGER'S GUN PERMIT BE SUSPENDED!!
Unfortunately, there are others who SUPPORT JAMES YEAGER
WHO are the people that firearm CEO, James Yeager will 'start killing'?
Alex Jones: "The Second Amendment isn't for Duck Hunters, it's for defense against Tyrannical Government" ?????
So, who among you are willing to start killing people ?
Big Mama was not making a threat, but suggesting that if either of these cases involved government, there would be more of them initiated BY GOVERNMENT. If there is any pushback by gun owners it would be only after being provoked, i.e. have their home appraoched by armed government agents for the purpose of disarming them.
And nobody here was "cheering on" anyone who threatens to "start killing people" over new Second Amendment "infringements" despuite the fact they are unconstitutional.
If self defense of self and the right of self defense is involved, certainly a "head shot" would be more effective than shooting into a bulletproof vest.
