A Virginia lottery winner is pretty pleased with himself after winning a second-tier Powerball prize. Keith Copeland of Disputanta, Virginia, claimed his $1,000,000 Powerball prize Tuesday, January 15, for a winning ticket he played in the Saturday, January 12 drawing. His lucky Powerball numbers were 10, 14, 21, 23, and 47, but not the red Powerball number of 7.
The Washington Post reported Copeland purchased his winning Powerball ticket at Salem Market, 11420 South Crater Road in Petersburg, Virginia, and is Virginia Lottery's eighth such winner in the past eight weeks! It seems Virginia is quickly becoming one of the luckiest states to buy Powerball tickets!
