A Pennsylvania man's funeral procession took an unusual drive--through a Burger King drive thru. The deceased--David Kime, Jr. loved Whoppers and his survivors were determined to have his funeral "his way."
According to a report from Yahoo, Kime "lived by his own set of rules." His daughter says he considered the lettuce on his Whopper
s to be healthy eating.
His funeral is now considered to be a "Whopper" of a send off. The motorcade went to the drive thru and each mourner received a Whopper to take with them on the road. Kime got a Whopper, too. His family set one on top of his coffin--flag-draped even--because Kime was a veteran.
The family doesn't look at the procession as humorous. It was something David Kime enjoyed and that's how they saw fit to see him leave this world.
Would you feel like a funeral procession going through the Burger King drive-thru is disrespectful and a bit tacky or do you think what Kime's family did for him was a show of respect?
Have you ever heard of a funeral procession that was quite as bizarre as this trip through the fast food drive thru?
