Top UFO Sightings of January 2013 (Video)

UFO sightings continued to be various and numerous in January 2013, with the most intriguing example a truly "unidentified" flying object: a new kind of super secret military jet, filmed near Area 51, which looks like it was designed by Batman himself.

The video below, uploaded to YouTube, was compiled by the channel "Third Phase Of Moon" which is a destination site for sightings. Videos posted on the channel are often sensationalized, but these "best of" compilations usually include intriguing examples, and this one is no different.

The majority of sighting videos seem to be of the classic "flying saucer" type, taken at both day and night. One unusual sighting is of an "orb" UFO filmed by a surveillance camera outside the home of Stan Romanek, a noted alien hunter who claims to have been contacted by a "Grey" who peeked inside his kitchen window.

By far the most intriguing example of unexplained crafts is the short sequence of what looks to be a secret jet filmed near Groom Lake, Nevada, close to the famed Area 51. The jet has an unusual wing shape and tail engine. It also shows unusual flaps on the sides and is bristling with missiles. It bears an uncanny resemblance to the "Batplane" made famous in comics and the movies.
