Yet more gun confiscation legislation has been proposed. This time, H.F. No. 241 in Minnesota would give owners of certain legally owned "assault weapons" until September 1st to "surrender" their firearm to the state or face "prosecution."
Similar legislation has been proposed in Missouri and would make felons out of law-abiding citizens if they opted to keep their legally owned firearms. As revealed by the Gateway Pundit, the proposed legislation in Minnesota has "nearly identical language as the Missouri bill," and even extends to those who may have received the weapon as an inheritance, as reported by Joe Newby of the Examiner.
For those that ridicule the idea that some lawmakers and anti-second amendment activists want to ultimately confiscate all firearms, think again. Like those who published lists of legal gun owners in several publications recently, the disdain for weapons in general is apparent.
The gun confiscation legislation in Minnesota should be challenged by those who believe, as Thomas Jefferson did, that citizens have a "right and duty to be at all times armed." American citizens are also "entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press."

The availability of guns is an impediment to totalitarian, fascism which is the real transformation that the global communists have in mind for America. And i include Obama as a global communist.
They argue for smaller clip sizes, while they quietly buy millions of rounds.
Why is that?
Why do they need that much ammo, they are not hunting deer!
The test for whether those who support the legislation really committed to change (themselves and others) or this three reasons I described are valid is whether then can describe root causes of the problem or they can only talk about the symptoms.
When have you ever heard of one of those who wants to expand gun control every listen to those who oppose it.
What can be done to to show how that approach creates more victims rather then protects victims/

What I would like to see happen, be part of, it coming up with little ideas that people could use in everyday life.
As for the house of cards, that has been being built since the LBJ 'War on Poverty'. Too many generation have pushed away from personal accomplishment and the associated personal satisfaction/self worth that comes with it that I am affraid they won't see it until it starts coming down around them. A good example is how long the housing crisis has been dragged out cause the whole economy to suffer when if it would have been allowed to bottom 5 years ago we would be will into recovery, but the people who kept their financial house in order going into 2007 are willing to admit they have suffered under that house of cards.
What I would like to see is that little idea that is like the drip of water that starts seeping into the house of cards. First is creates a mold, then more drips of that water follow creating dry rot that leads to the house of cards falling.
There is little hope for righting this foundering Ship...
That is one place I will resist, I do not stupe to the personal attacks that the 'left' uses such as calling people Nazis or use other terms and phrases that are attempts of conjuring up atrocities in attempt to link who ever they are trying to smear with those images.
I will challenge their ideas agressively, and persistently.
What other ways can we resist their attempts to corrupt the princples and laws that created this bastion of libeerty?
