America's most hated woman, Casey Anthony, will come out of hiding on Monday, to attend a bankruptcy hearing in Tampa, Florida. She had been in hiding since being acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in the summer of 2008. Caylee was missing for 31 days before any reports were made, and Casey lied and lied and lied to hide the crime, only confessing her lies when she was backed into a corner and had no where else to go.
A request to move her bankruptcy hearing to Orlando was denied last week, though it was favored by attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, both of who are suing Anthony. The bankruptcy effectively blocks the lawsuits of these two from going forward. Gonzalez is suing for defamation of character, after her name was mentioned by Casey Anthony as the nanny who she claimed had kidnapped her daughter. Her suit seems frivolous, anyway, since she is not the only Zenaida Gonzalez in the world, and it was quickly confirmed that she had nothing to do with the disappearance of the toddler. Roy Kronk is a meter reader who discovered Caylee's body in a wooded area near the Anthony home. He is also suing for defamation, presumably regarding statements made about his moving the body and keeping it hidden until he could claim the reward money.
When will Casey Anthony's "fame" deteriorate? When will America tire of hearing about her non-escapades? Really, she seems to be keeping herself in seclusion, probably to avoid being killed by those who still believe in her guilt. However, that is no longer a topic for discussion, as she was found not guilty of murdering her daughter.
